Alonso takes 2nd straight win in Fuji!

In an incident filled race, Fernando Alonso took the win after starting from 5th and avoiding the melee caused by Lewis Hamilton who got the bad start and forced himself to send one up the inside of Kimi Raikkonen.  As of consequence, both Ferrari drivers were forced off track letting through Alonso and Kubica.

To add insult to injury, notorious wheel banger Felipe Massa caused an avoidable collision by tank slapping Hamilton in turn 10 resulting in Felipe getting a penalty.  Felipe and Lewis both served their drive through penalties.  Meanwhile Alonso made a shorter pitstop to pull out a gap and eventually overtake Roberto Kubica of whom the latter finished 2nd.

Kimi Raikkonen not only qualified 2nd but managed to provide some entertainment making some great overtaking moves even if he didn’t have the tyres to make more than 2 attempts to overtake Kubica. Raikkonen finished 3rd reminding us all why he is the new Red Baron of Ferrari and Formula 1.

Overall an excellent race, and more suspense and excitement to look forward to for racing in Shanghai.  Lewis leads Felipe by 5 points but he can still do it.
